Gary Richard Seifert
May 24, 1944 - July 15, 2019
Gary Richard Seifert, 75, of Morrison, MO passed away July 15, 2019 on his farm. Gary was born in Jefferson City, on May 24, 1944 the son of Richard and Mary Seifert. His dad Richard Seifert was one of the founders of the Central Missouri Polled Hereford Breeders Association and served as the first President. Gary continued that tradition, as well as his love for Polled Hereford cattle. Gary opened and operated Valley View Farms, one of the largest breeders in the state and sold in every sale since the association started 65 years ago, a total of 112 sales.
James Douglas
'J.D' Gregory
July 7, 1933 - August 7, 2019
James Douglas (J.D) Gregory, 86 of Houstonia, MO passed away August, 7 2019 at the Missouri Veterans Home, Warrensburg, MO J.D. was born in Sedalia, MO on July 7 1933 the son of Earl Henry and Mary Elizabeth Gregory. He was a farmer and cattleman that loved Polled Hereford cattle. J.D's first consignment, Lot 14 "GHF Don Lamplight 2" was in the 16th Sale on February 6, 1968, 51 years ago. Gregory Polled Herefords has consigned to every dale since then. J.D. was a long time supporter of the Missouri State Fair and youth. He recently attended the Pettis County Fair watching his great granddaughter show the family cattle.
